After spending the summer at my parents “mansion” I’m back in my attic apartment in the ghetto. *sigh*
It’s a nice apartment but there’s no echo in any room! How can I live without an echo?!?
After being away so long I’m in a redocorating mood. We just got this huge book shelf that we put up yesterday.
I’ve never had such a dark pieace of furniture in my living room. I’m also planning on buying one or two or all of these posters.
And my final redecorating mission is find an old rotary telephone. Something with weight to it! I’m so sick of small cordless phones I want something heavy and solid, something I could bash someone’s brains in with if I needed/wanted to.
I am SO happy with Ubuntu! It’s like light years better then the crappy distributions I used a few years ago.
Katy Perry. I know she like super popular in the US right now, or so I read on Perez Hilton. I’m not really into that “I kissed a girl” song, but I love “Ur so gay.” Finally a song that puts metro sexual males in their place!
Todays project is to reinstall windows on my laptop, and install ubuntu on my stationary. At the moment they are both running windows and are full of trojans. I used luinx several years ago for awhile but felt so handycapped in it. My theory is that this time around I am older and wiser and smarter and will have no problems what so ever. That’s reasonable, right?
I use SPSS all the time for work which only comes for windows, but my plan is to try out an emulation window for SPSS and/or I can always whip out an old hard drive I have laying around and install windows on to that and boot into it for all my gaming/working needs.
I used to play tons of games but in the past few years I’ve only played Sims 2 once in a great while. The only game I’m looking forward to now is Mafia 2 and that’s coming out for ps3 which I kind of have. Kind of as in, right now it’s plauged with the dreaded error 80010514 so it can’t read DVD’s and the receipt is MIA. This has been the situation for the past 4 months.
The second project for today is to clean the screen of my laptop! It’s filthy.
I practiced my yodeling today. Ok I suck, but I’m going to keep with it so I can eventually go out on the road as the amazing yodeling Sheckler.
