Although I have a whole heap of books that I am supposed to be reading, (Thank you Elvis) I bought John Irving’s latest book “Until I Find You.” I’m totally psyched about it. It’s about an actor who spends his childhood traveling around the U.S. and Europe searching for his father, who seems to have an addiction to tattoos. Of course he develops “issues” and has all kinds of inappropriate sexual encounters and the rest of the book is him learning to deal as an adult. Plus I’m sure there’s wrestling, Maine and a bear thrown in there just to affirm it’s self as a John Irving book. It sounds to me like it will be a blend of “Widow For One Year” and the “The World According to Garp.” Ok, I havn’t read “The World According to Garp.” I’m saving it as the last John Irving book I read. Like a last farewell, But I’ve seen the movie, so maybe I’ve kind of ruined the whole thing already.

Seriously there’s a lot of pressure when it comes to the first post. Well I mock and scoff at that pressure.
